Our preschool has both a Montessori room and a Play room (gym). We encourage students to take what they’ve discovered in one area and apply it in the other. In so doing, the social, emotional, academic and physical aspects of learning come together to benefit the whole child. We offer our program for children 30 months of age up to and including 5 years of age upon enrollment.

In the Montessori room we use the Montessori approach (observe and assist) to encourage hands-on investigation for five general skills:

Practical Life Skills

Sensorial

Language

Mathematics

Geography and Science

The Play room provides lots of space for your child to learn through valuable, open-ended free play. Each week new materials are set up based on children’s interests, creative ideas and natural curiosity. Our day often includes:

Circles and story telling

Crafts, painting

Dancing, singing and active play

Dramatic play and dress-up

Gross motor play

Sensory play

Science activities

Children choose their own activities while encouraged to participate in all aspects of our program.
